John Baker became the first native Alaskan winner of the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race since 1976 on Tuesday when he crossed the finish line in a record-setting eight days, 19 hours, and 46 minutes. Alaskan politician and tea-party candidate Joe Miller immediately filed a legal protest, questioning the authenticity of the results.
