The act of crying, known primarily as "a complex secretomotor phenomenon characterized by the shedding of tears from the lacrimal apparatus without any irritation of the ocular structures" (Wikipedia), announced today plans to sue the Miami Heat organization, and specifically coach Eric Spoeltra, for "humiliating remarks" made following the Heat's March 7th loss to the Chicago Bulls. It was at that press conference that Spoeltra publicly announced “There are a couple of guys crying in the locker room right now." The act of crying, through its spokesperson, said that the suit "is not about the money, it’s about restoring the act of crying's good name and reputation. While no law-suit can undo the damage perpetuated by Spoeltra with his remarks, it is a step forward."
