Cheney wins award

Former Vice-President Dick Cheney can add yet another award to his already-crowded stockpile of honors. The Science-Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA) have bestowed upon Cheney the coveted "Nebula" award, an honor given the best fantasy, sci-fi work published this year. Cheney won for his recent work "In My Time". The SFWA committee hailed the work as being 'amazingly inventive and brilliantly imaginative'. Jan Steneroud, prominent annotator of fantasy literature described Cheney's work as “an almost genius accomplishment in creating a world and scenarios so removed from anything in known existence, along the lines of Asimov or Lovecraft for the depth of its boldness and fantastic vision."
