New MLB play-off system

MLB is thinking over a new play-off and league format. Of all the ideas that I have heard, the one I favor is as follows...move a team such as the Houston Astros over to the American league to even the leagues up with 15 teams each. Then get rid of the divisions. This will give a balanced schedule and there will always be an inter-league series going on. The top five teams make the play-offs. It will be easy to visualize and keep track of where your team is as far as the wild-card is concerned. Finally, add the two-point conversion after a touchdown, just kidding.
